An extraordinary holiday light show synchronized to holiday music that can be heard throughout Frisco Square. The unique Christmas light display features over 70,000 lights. Each Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening in December, this one of a kind event for kids of all ages will featured outdoor movies, carriage rides, bounce house, train rides, balloon artists and a number of other activities. Santa makes his traditional journey down Main Street to officially kick off the city's holiday season! The Winter Games of Texas is a sports festival created for Texas amateur athletes. Patterned after the Olympic Games and the US Olympic Sports Festivals, the Winter Games of Texas provides a forum for competition among Texas’ Olympic hopefuls and recreational activities. 10-12 sports are featured each year and include a Celebration of Athletes, a fun family activity with bounce houses, face painting, Parade of Athletes and past Olympian heroes.
