Frisco, TEXAS (June 15, 2010) - Frisco Square announced that Arts in the Square will return on March 5th and 6th, 2011. Exhibitors can begin to apply through the "Zapplication" process beginning, June 15, 2010 (www.zapplication.org).
"We were very gratified by the response Arts in the Square 2010
received from the arts community, from the people of Frisco and
from the surrounding communities, too, "said Paige Scheer, Arts in
the Square organizer. "This year we're going to work with FISD and
Collin College. To kick things off, we're announcing a
competitive student poster contest this summer". Arts in the Square
is an annual juried show. Artists compete in fifteen categories.
Arts in the Square embraces both visual and performing arts along
with Texas-style fun, activities for children of all ages and live,
local entertainment.
"Arts in the Square returns after a very successful first year. Our
affiliation with the Frisco Independent School District and Collin
College arts programs expands and deepens our commitment to one of
the very best things about Frisco, its educational opportunities,"
added Cathy Sweeney, a Managing Partner at Frisco Square.
