FRISCO, TX - The RoughRiders are honored to announce that the organization recently surpassed five million fans all-time at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
Now in the ninth year of the franchise, the 'Riders credit great on-field entertainment, affordable ticket packages and fan favorites like fireworks every Friday night for filling Dr Pepper Ballpark night after night.
"This is exactly what we envisioned when we partnered to bring the RoughRiders to Frisco, Texas" said Mayor Maher Maso, City of Frisco. "We're not only proud of their attendance accomplishments, but also their numerous community programs that make our city a better place to live and work."
The RoughRiders have led all 30 Double-A teams in attendance for the last six seasons and are currently leading them again so far this season.
"We're very blessed to have such terrific fan support," said RoughRiders' President/General Manager Scott Sonju. "We strive to provide our fans with family friendly entertainment at an affordable price in one of the most unique and beautiful venues in all of baseball."
The RoughRiders' next home stand begins Thursday, July 14 against the Corpus Christi Hooks. First pitch is slated for 7:00 p.m.
