FRISCO, Texas (August 8, 2011) Texas's Tax-Free Weekend 2011 is
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 19, 20 and 21. Stonebriar
Centre and its retailers are ready to welcome shoppers who are
anxious to take advantage of the three days when everyone gets a
break from state and local sales tax on most clothing and
back-to-school supplies.
To accommodate shoppers, Stonebriar Centre will observe these
hours:
Friday, August 19: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
Saturday, August 20: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and
Sunday, August 21: 12 to 6 p.m.
Department stores, restaurants and entertainment venues at the
shopping center may keep different hours. Shoppers should call for
exact opening and closing times.
During the tax-free weekend, most clothing and footwear under $100
and backpacks for elementary and secondary school students are
exempt from taxes. Lay-away plans can again be used to take
advantage of the tax-exempt savings. For more information on
