The Dallas Renegades have officially moved into Frisco, and the UFL action is already underway! Whether you’re a die-hard football junkie or just looking for the perfect family experience, grab your blue gear—the Dallas Renegades have officially moved into their new home, and the UFL action is absolutely electric!
Here is your ultimate guide to the Renegades’ inaugural season in Frisco.
Toyota Stadium
The Renegades aren't just bringing football; they’re giving us a front-row seat to Toyota Stadium’s massive $182 million glow-up. While the venue gears up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, fans get to enjoy the first wave of upgrades.
The most noticeable addition is the stadium’s new video board. It is currently the largest in any MLS soccer-specific stadium, ensuring you won’t miss a single replay during UFL games.
Pre-Game Excitement
The 2026 season opener proved that Frisco bleeds blue. Thousands of fans arrived early to soak up the festivities, with the first 5,000 through the gates snagging limited-edition Renegades t-shirts to complete the "Blue Out" theme.
The energy hits a fever pitch during the player intros, as players charging through towering columns of pyrotechnics while an explosion of red and blue smoke blankets midfield. It’s a high-octane entrance that sets the stage for the hard-hitting action to follow.
Plus, keep an eye out for legends! The home opener saw the return of Bob Stoops—the coach who led the Renegades to their 2023 Championship—stepping back onto the turf for the ceremonial coin toss.
The Game Experience
Forget what you know about traditional football. The UFL has revolutionized the game, creating a laboratory for the future of the sport. Between the non-stop music pumping through the speakers and these game-changing rules, you’ll be on the edge of your seat:
The 4-Point Field Goal: Kickers can now score 4 points for their team if they nail it from 60+ yards.
- The "No-Punt" Zone: If a team crosses the 50-yard line, they must go for it. No punts allowed (unless it’s the final two minutes of a half), meaning more fourth-down drama.
- One Foot Inbounds: Receivers now only need one foot inbounds for a completion, opening up the sidelines for massive plays.
The Shootout: No ties here. Overtime moves to a high-tension shootout format from the 5-yard line. It’s fast, intense, and a total fan favorite.
Watching from home? All games will be on FOX, ABC, FS1, or ESPN. On FOX and ABC, players and coaches are mic’d up live, letting you hear the actual play calls and strategy as they happen. Fans at the game will also experience all of the mic’d up moments.

Important Things to Know
Because of the ongoing construction on the East Side at Toyota Stadium, navigating the stadium looks a little different this year. Here is how to handle game day like a local:
1. Where to Park: There are over 4,000 spots within a five-minute walk.
General Parking: Head to the Corolla Red or Highlander Green lots.
Note: The Sierra North Blue lot is open but limited due to the construction crews working on the new stadium structure.
2. Finding Your Gate: The East Gate is closed until Summer 2026, and the South Gate is left closed since there are no parking areas near it.
North Gate: This is the primary hub and the best bet if you're coming from the Red or Green lots.
West Gate: Located on World Cup Way, this is a great secondary option to beat the biggest lines.
3. The Bag Policy & Cashless Rules
Clear Bags Only: Approved clear bags (14” x 6” x 14”) or small clutches (5.5” x 8.5”) are required.
- Special Exceptions: Diaper bags or medically necessary items must enter through the ADA/VIP Gate on the West Side for inspection and tagging.
Go Cashless: From jerseys to nachos, the stadium is now fully contactless. Bring your cards or digital payment!
