So, not to brag, but…we’re kind of a big deal.  The Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau has won a handful of awards for our efforts, and we couldn’t be more excited. Below is a list of just some of the recognition we’ve received:

CITY-COUNTY COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING ASSOCIATION (3CMA) 2012 SAVVY AWARDS, SILVER CIRCLE AWARD WINNER: Frisco was recognized in the Digital Interactive/Overall Website category for the redesign of After visiting the dynamic, revamped site, one judge was “ready to book his next vacation in Frisco.”

FILM-FRIENDLY TEXAS CERTIFIED COMMUNITY: Frisco is ready for its close-up. After submitting photos and developing guidelines for commercial filming, Frisco has been added to the list of Film-Friendly Texas Certified Communities, making it a certified film location. Television shows like “Prison Break” have already taken advantage of Frisco’s rural landscape. 

ACCREDITATION BY DESTINATION MARKETING ASSOCIATION INTERNATIONAL (DMAI): A worldwide seal of excellence, standards for this award include excellence in technology, visitor services, destination development and innovation, among others. Only 93 U.S. destinations hold DMAI accreditation, and Frisco is one of only two Texas cities (the other is Austin) that have attained the measure of excellence. 

CONVENTIONSOUTH READERS CHOICE AWARD: ConventionSouth is THE authority on event-planning in the South, and their discerning readers have deemed Frisco a great place to meet and hold events!
