We all like the idea of doing a fun date, but let’s be honest, coming up with a game plan can be a little frustrating sometimes. Scrambling and asking ourselves questions like "where do I go" and "what should I do?" Well, you came to right spot, because I’m going to share with you some of the most unique date ideas that Frisco has to offer.
This date is for the person always looking for the perfect Instagram shot. The Rail District in Frisco has murals at almost every turn. One of Frisco’s newest murals can be found on the rooftop of The Patios. It features icons like Marilyn Monroe, Bruce Lee and many more. My personal favorite mural is located at the corner of 4th and Main Street. Its name is "Frisco’s Past and Present." This beautiful piece of art takes you on a visual journey of Frisco’s most iconic landmarks and city history.
Miniature golfing can be fun and all, but have you ever tried virtual golfing? The Topgolf Swing Suite at The Westin Stonebriar is perfect for golfers and non-golfers, alike. No experience needed to enjoy a little friendly competition. Each Topgolf suite includes a massive screen that uses Full Swing golf simulator technology, which is the same technology used by PGA Tour pros like Tiger Woods and Jason Day. In addition, guests get to enjoy all the benefits of a luxury hotel suite, including food and beverage offerings.
If you are looking to “Escape the Ordinary,” look no further because Countdown 2 Escape has got you covered. You will be sent on an adventure in a premium themed puzzle room, with only one goal: to escape. This might sound easy, until the clock starts ticking and you realize you only have 60 minutes to complete your mission. But don’t worry, you will have your own personal Game Master who will be there to ensure that you and your date have a wonderful time.
Now if you live in Texas, you know football is pretty big deal. That’s why a VIP tour at The Star just can’t be beat. This experience gives Dallas Cowboys fans the opportunity to connect with the NFL team in ways they never have before. The tour takes fans on a journey through varies parts of the facility where the Cowboys train 355 days of the year. One of the coolest stops includes a visit to the War Room, where the NFL draft is conducted. This experience is sure to impress your date. Tours at The Star have been temporarily suspended.
Bring out your inner child and head to Strikz for a ton of fun filled games. This small business offers state-of-the-art bowling lanes, a laser tag arena, billiards and a full arcade. If you get hungry, they also have a Bar and Grill on the premises, so you never have to leave the fun. If you are wanting a more private atmosphere they also offer private rooms for groups and parties. Don’t forget to check out their website and social media pages beforehand, because they are always running fantastic promotions and deals.
These are just a few of the many awesome spots in the city. I hope to see you in Frisco soon! To keep up to date with the most recent area news, sign up for our newsletter.
