The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation’s Winter Games of Texas return to Frisco January 18 – 19, 2014! Spectators are invited to watch as nearly 4,000 amateur and recreational athletes from ages 8 to 80 compete in 13 different sports ranging from basketball and bowling to flag football and figure skating.

New to this year’s event lineup is archery, which we’re personally attributing to the popularity of The Hunger Games, in which the lead character excels in the sport. Events will play out at various venues throughout the Frisco area—click an event below for time and location details. Registration is still open for all events, so sign up today!

The Winter Games of Texas are the perfect (no passport required!) way to warm up for those other winter games you might be looking forward to in 2014!
