Sometimes the hardest decision of the day comes when it’s time to select a place to eat dinner. The struggle is very real. To help, we figured it would be nice if we put together a list of a few typical and a few unique date night spots in Frisco. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or holiday, or you just need a break from the regular day-to-day, the kiddos, responsibilities or that day-long conference, here are a few Frisco spots worth considering for date night.

 

Eight11 Place: A patio, live music, glass of wine and good eats… all by the fire and under the stars. Doesn’t get much more date night than that. Located on Main Street in Historic Downtown Frisco, Eight11 Place is a cozy little wine bar, featuring craft brews and light bites. Known for live music on the weekends and their yummy Fireside S’more Board, it’s the perfect place for a romantic and unique date night.

Nerdvana Frisco: Recently renovated, this unpretentious upscale restaurant and bar focuses on contemporary American dining, craft cocktails, craft beer and…. video games. How about a little friendly competition on date night? Challenge your date to Mario Kart, Rocket League or any of the other new and classic games they have set up. Enjoy a unique and incredibly delicious menu including Chef Mike’s Chicken Fried Steak Medallions, Hadouken Beef or Shrimp Diablo. Thirsty? They have drinks too! Enjoy a glass of wine, craft beer or a fun cocktail including the Diamond Butt Stallion or The Kristige. Hopefully your relationship survives Rainbow Road.

Perry's Steakhouse & Grille: If you’re looking for that upscale night out, Perry’s is your place. Featuring steaks, chops, seafood, as well as an extensive wine and cocktail menu, this spot is sure to serve up not only great food to satisfy your hunger, but an intimate setting for you and your date. From starters including Prime Beef Carpaccio to Bacon Wrapped Scallops, to steaks and chops like their Bone-In Filet Mignon and Perry’s Famous Pork Chop, you won’t leave this place hungry. Be sure to enjoy dessert like their Rocky Road Bread Pudding or Bananas Foster for a sweet evening treat.

The British Lion: Sports fans need a date night too! Whether football, baseball, soccer or curling is on, if you’re a fan and planning date night, The British Lion is the perfect little pub for you. Featuring an English style menu and a variety of brews on tap, this pub not only serves up some yummy eats, but does so in a casual and intimate setting. Order up some Bangers and Mash or Shepard’s Pie and you’ll feel as though you traveled to merrie olde England.

El Rincon: If you’re looking to spice things up a bit, head to El Rincon for date night. This casual, classic Tex-Mex spot serves up some amazing Tex-Mex, Mexican and Latin style cuisine, as well as a variety of margaritas and import beers. Keep things spicy and order the queso flameado or the Spicy Sandia Margarita.

Trattoria al Giardino: L'amore è nell'aria! Love is in the air at this traditional Italian eatery serving up some of the most authentic and yummy Italian cuisine this side of Palermo. Handmade mozzarella, signature black cod, gnocchi, made from scratch sauces and an impressive wine list make this cozy eatery one you’ll keep going back to again and again. If the weather is nice, enjoy your meal on their comfortable and quaint patio!
