Fall time boasts some of the most colorfully breathtaking views of the parks and trails around Frisco, making it the perfect time to get outside and enjoy all that Mother Nature has to offer. Whether you want to explore on foot or by bike, Frisco has more than 70+ miles of trails to enjoy and beautiful parks to visit. Some Frisco favorites include Central Park for the most vibrant views when the leaves begin to change color. HALL Park is home to the Texas Sculpture Garden and enchanting trails featuring large ponds, fountains, and even wildlife. Another diverse trail for walkers, runners, or cyclists is Cottonwood Creek Greenbelt trail, featuring a historic bridge from 1904, wetlands and ponds, plus platforms for fishing and viewing wildlife. If you want to sit down for a picnic and take in the fresh fall air, Frisco Commons Park offers an abundance of shade, walking paths, and beautiful scenery.

We didn’t forget about the pumpkins! The nostalgic tradition of visiting the pumpkin patch in Frisco has returned. No fall is complete without going to Frisco’s pumpkin patches. Pumpkins on the Prairie (October 1-31) offers hay rides, games, and a wide selection of pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Oh, and don’t forget your annual fall photo op before you leave.

The Frisco Fresh Market is a great place to get all the fall fixings and enjoy the outdoors! You can find everything from pumpkins, delicious baked goods, specialty foods, and fresh products from local farmers, artisans, crafters, and more! The fall hours are Saturdays, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sundays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Summer Moon just launched their autumn moon menu featuring all of the best autumn flavors. You can find more PSL at The Aussie Grind, La Finca, American Coffee and Tea, and more cafes around town. The Great Harvest Bread Co. has delicious baked goods, including pumpkin muffins, bars, cakes, and loaves to fulfill all your comforting fall cravings. Finally, Batch Bakery has a fantastic pie selection that will have you coming back for more, including seasonal favorites such as apple pie, pecan, and — you guessed it — pumpkin!

Oktoberfest

Frisco Oktoberfest is a fall staple in the community! The third3rd annual Frisco Oktoberfest festivities kick off with a traditional keg tapping, followed by plenty of competitions, including bier stein hoisting, brat eating, keg roll races, stein races, and Mr. & Ms. Oktoberfest. 

No doubt about it, Oktoberfest will have you saying “Prost!” to a fun-filled fall day at Frisco Square, Saturday, October 1 from 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
