Visit Frisco is the official destination marketing organization for the City of Frisco. The team actively markets and sells to meetings, conventions, sports and tourism, and is responsible for increasing economic prosperity for Frisco, its residents and marketing partners. Official accreditation recognizing excellence and achievement was awarded in 2009 by the industry organization Destination's International.

As Executive Director, Marla is at the helm of everything that goes on within Visit Frisco. In addition to all of her years of meetings and tourism industry know-how, she's a knock-your-socks-off cook! Paying attention to the ingredients, tools, and techniques is what she does in the kitchen and very much spills over into what she does at work. Spicy food really gets her going. The spicier the food, the more she's willing to give it a try. Her adventuresome nature is also one of the reasons why she's done such a great job leading and moving the team forward. When she's not at work, she runs about 50 miles a week, and when she's not doing that, she loves to read. She could easily be a detective since murder mysteries and espionage are her favorite book topics.

A resident of Frisco since 2001, Sandy has been here to experience the vast growth of the city. One of her favorite things to do is to volunteer in the community. Whether she is adopting a senior citizen for the holidays or adopting students to provide them with "Back to School" necessities, she always has a smile on her face knowing the rewards of volunteering outweigh the costs. Sandy also strives to go above and beyond at the office, making sure she can support the team in the role of Administrative Assistant. She has five grown children (including her daughter-in-laws) whom all live in the DFW Metroplex. Family comes first when it comes to spending time with them and her four rescued "grand-dogs."

When she’s not promoting the City of Frisco, Cori can be found day tripping around the Lone Star State or watching The Office for the millionth time.

Wesley began her career in the travel and tourism industry right out of high school. Not only does she bring experience to the team, but a passion and love of all things tourism and communications. Wesley greatly enjoys working with media contacts and sharing Frisco with the @VisitFriscoTX social media followers. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son at the family ranch, playing golf, fishing, cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders or her favorite baseball team, the Boston Red Sox.

Stevie, a graduate of the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s in journalism, has called Frisco “home” for more than 10 years. She joins the Visit Frisco team brand-new to the travel and tourism industry, but brings a wealth of experience in internal and external communication, event photography and event planning. Outside of work, Stevie enjoys photography, baking and spending time with her friends and family. She met her husband through bicycle racing and together they have a golden retriever and a Pembroke Welsh corgi. Stevie enjoys volunteering and giving back to the cycling community. She’ll eat breakfast food for any meal of the day, is a dog enthusiast and considers herself to be the “cool aunt” to her four nephews.

Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with her four grown children, traveling the world including her favorite place, Germany, and cheering on her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys!

With a Bachelor’s Degree from Dallas Baptist University, she strives to be a servant leader and assist her team with a joyful spirit. Since joining the Visit Frisco team, Madison has grown her love for the City of Frisco and loves being part of such an exciting destination. When Madison isn’t at work, you can find her and her husband working on DIY projects in their home or spending their weekends at Cedar Creek Lake.

If there's anyone in the office that needs an idea about how to impress someone with absolute style and flare, LaChelle is the go-to person for ideas. She knows how to use her creative charm when it comes to selling her clients on bringing meetings and events to Frisco. LaChelle has been on the Visit Frisco sales team the longest, driving results in the Texas association markets. She brings her 'A' game to the table, and given a level playing field, she'll turn it into a win-win situation. It doesn't matter if it's a marathon or a sprint, she constantly seeks out ways to go above and beyond. When she's not on the field at work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

In her most recent position, she was the opening Director of Sales for the Hampton Inn and Suites Dallas/Frisco North Fieldhouse USA. Stacie enjoys working closely with her clients, as she strives to build, maintain and foster relationships with each and every one of them. Stacie is proud to be a native Texan, and grew up in the Mid-Cities area of the DFW Metroplex. When she is not working, Stacie loves spending time with her husband Ricardo and her daughter Aliyah. They love to travel, swim, attend sporting events or simply stay home for a competitive evening of family game night.

Jen brings a wealth of experience in the CVB and Hotel industry to Visit Frisco. Having been in the DFW market for more than 20 years, Jen knows Frisco is the place to be! In her most recent experience, Jen opened the Lorenzo Hotel in Dallas and oversaw the west coast convention market for VisitDallas. She enjoys showcasing her city and local partners, with the goal of ensuring clients fall in love with the destination and fully understand their best local options. Jen has a sparkly sense of humor and enjoys getting to know her clients well. When she’s not at work, Jen spends quality time with her husband and two college-going kids (go Red Raiders, Razorbacks and Longhorns)! Travel, gardening, crafting cocktails and watching college football are popular Brown family activities, too.

Lisa joined Visit Frisco from the world of hotels, working her way through the ranks from convention services to sales. With her positive spirit and hospitable personality, she made it her personal goal to make sure every client was taken care of whether it be a meeting planner or a hotel guest. Other than her passion for people, she is completely smitten with pens. She can tell you just about anything you'd want to know about whatever you may happen to be writing with.

Melissa, a Frisco resident for more than three years, loves all of the unique activities and delicious places to eat that Frisco has to offer. She began her career in the hotel industry, working her way up through the different departments. During that time, Melissa gained hospitality and tourism industry knowledge, which she now brings to the Visit Frisco team in her role as the Sales & Services Coordinator. When Melissa isn’t working, she spends time with her daughter, Lily, visiting all the various kid-friendly attractions in Frisco. She is also a huge sports fanatic, following the Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and the FC Dallas.

Sports is so much more than just a hobby for Josh. From his family’s farm in West Texas to an internship at Walt Disney World, Josh has learned a work ethic and customer-service mentality that make him the ideal choice to lead the Visit Frisco sports department. His passion for sports is definitely a family affair. In their free time, you can find Josh, his wife and two young daughters attending sporting events or watching them on TV. He is an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers and Texas Tech University Red Raiders.

Chuck Brakes would be hard to miss in a room because at 6'7" he's usually the tallest person in the room! He lives, breathes and speaks sports and if you prod him, he also does a pretty good job at speaking French, too. Chuck is not afraid to put the full court press on to help Frisco expand their already great sports market. He's the head coach at home and loves spending time with his family. If you talk about traveling, music or fast cars, you'll hit a home run with him. Right now we're just trying to find a company car with enough leg room to accommodate him!

Madeline is passionate about helping others. A North Texas native, she graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Hospitality Management and a Masters in Communications. Throughout her time as a student at Texas Tech, she enjoyed planning events for the student body and working at United Supermarkets Arena. Madeline joined the Visit Frisco team with experience in tourism and events, superior knowledge of the area and a generous pinch of West Texas charm, and is excited by the opportunity to provide support to Frisco visitors and groups. When she’s not working to provide the highest quality service, you can find Madeline cheering on the Dallas Mavericks, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and Kansas City Chiefs, catching up on her favorite books and TV shows, trying out a new recipe, or spending time outside with her dog, Olive.
