Woodworking 101: making a dovetail box
Throughout the course of this workshop, dive into the basics of woodworking, and use new skills to build a practical and beautiful dovetail box with hand tools only. This workshop does not require any woodworking experience and is perfect for those who want to explore a unique and gratifying new hobby. All materials are included in the price of the workshop.

Join the Sci Tech Maker Studio for some illumination on the process of making circuits and soldering. Design your own Halloween themed card and then use paper circuits to make the card light up. Then move on to a soldering demo and solder your very own Halloween circuit.

Pyrography 101: the art of wood-burning
During this workshop, explore the world of wood burning through the ancient art of pyrography! Participants will learn a bit about the extensive history of pyrography and practice burning scrap wood with a woodburning pen before moving on to designing and burning their own masterpiece.
