- Things to Do
Frisco has a long history of being a shopping destination. In the city’s early years, it was common on weekends for the sidewalks and streets of Main Street to be packed with farmers, ranchers, and city folks. Horses, wagons and eventually Model T cars were parked outside of shops like Curtsinger’s Drug Store, Sapp Brothers’ Café or the Frisco Beauty Shoppe. Today, while it’s rare to see horses or Model Ts making their way down Main Street, the folks still come from all over to visit The Rail District to frequent the merchants there including Twisted Simplicity, Summer Moon Coffee, Lillian Welch and Randy’s Steakhouse.
