FRISCO CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU ANNOUNCES NEW ADDITIONS TO TEAM

 

(Frisco, Texas) January 9, 2017 ~ The Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) announced today the addition of Josh Dill as Director of Sports and Events and Jake Sillavan as Digital Marketing Manager.

 

“We are so fortunate to have such talented individuals as Jake and Josh join our team,” said Marla Roe, Frisco CVB executive director. “Their uniquely different talents will allow us to bring new and exciting events to Frisco, and have the marketing support to assist these events in being successful. They complement the strong team we already have in place.”

 

With more than 10 years of experience in the sports events industry, Josh Dill joins the Frisco CVB in the newly created role of Director of Sports and Events. In his most recent role, Josh served as the Director of Sports Marketing for the Fort Worth CVB for three and half years. In his new role, Josh will collaborate with the CVB Executive Director and staff to develop, plan, coordinate and implement sports sales programs and events to showcase Frisco as a first-class tournament and event destination. He will also oversee the activities of the sports department, sports sales manager and sports and events services staff.

 

Jake Sillavan brings a wide array of digital marketing experience to Frisco, including past experience in the radio and entertainment industry. In his most recent position, Jake served as the Interactive Producer for the Fort Worth CVB for two years. In his new role, Jake is responsible for the content management of the Frisco CVB’s website, VisitFrisco.com, including all search engine optimization and search engine marketing efforts, maintaining of listings on the customer relationship management system and all digital marketing efforts done through the CVB. Jake will work under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Communications.
