The holidays are fast approaching and the time to celebrate the season is almost here. From light shows and tree lightings to shopping deals and Santa Claus, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the holiday spirit in Frisco.

Radiance! A Holiday Light Spectacular

Radiance! A Holiday Light Spectacular is set to light up Frisco starting now through
January 3. The drive through light show experience is more than one mile long and will take about 20 to 30 minutes to see in its entirety. A special Radiance! radio station frequency will be provided for guests to enjoy iconic holiday tunes as they experience the wonder which includes 160 feet of animated RGB light tunnels. Christmas in the Square

Taking place November 27 through January 4, Christmas in the Square is the largest choreographed lights and music display in North Texas. The nightly show begins at 6 p.m. and features more than 175,000 lights, 11.5 miles of wiring and over 8 miles of extension cords. Visitors may tune in to 107.3 FM on the radio in their vehicles or listen to the music piped through speakers as they take a walk through the Square. This year's Christmas in the Square event will also feature Skate the Square, an outdoor ice-skating rink, as well as a Christmas tree lot. The light and music show are free to experience. Some activities do require a fee.

15th Annual Frosty 5K & Merry Mile (Virtual)

Don your merriest running gear or costume and take part in one of Frisco’s most popular holiday traditions, the Frosty 5K & Merry Mile, December 1 - 31. This year's race is a virtual experience. Visit playfrisco.com for details.

30th Annual Merry Main Street (Drive-thru Event)

Kick off the holiday season in Frisco at the 30th Annual Merry Main Street on Saturday, December 5 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The night will still feature the City's official tree lighting with the Mayor and City Council, as well as live music and the 'Big Guy in Red'!  Wave at Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will be joined by other festive friends, as you make your way through the dancing lights of Frisco Square. For more information, visit friscotexas.gov.

Photos with Santa

It’s almost time to start checking names off your shopping list.
