Dr Pepper Arena to Host The Frisco Roundup Of Advanced Gamers Presented by Dallas Stars
Esports gaming event to take place in Frisco February 9, 10 & 11
What: Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas, will host a new esports event series, The Frisco Roundup of Advanced Gamers (The FRAG), presented by the Dallas Stars. The first FRAG event will take place February 9-11, 2018.
The FRAG, organized by esports event company Metanine, was designed to make the excitement of esports competition easily accessible to gamers of all skill levels. The FRAG events will feature on-site tournaments of popular games with consoles set up and available for gamers, as well as 500 ‘Bring Your Own Computer’ (BYOC) seats, which must be reserved in advance.
The first FRAG event will feature “Fortnite, Battle Royale,” “Raw Data” and “NHL 18.” Dallas Stars Defenseman, Stephen Johns is scheduled to make an appearance at The FRAG following the team’s practice on Saturday, February 10.
When: The FRAG will open at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 9 and will run continuously until 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 11.

Admission: The FRAG is open to the public, and admission is FREE for spectators and gamers wishing to play on the provided consoles. BYOC pre-reserved seats are $55 and must be reserved in advance online at www.friscoesports.com.
