Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau Announces Rebranding to ‘Visit Frisco’

Frisco, Texas (July 25, 2017) – The Frisco Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) announced today it is rebranding the organization to “Visit Frisco.” The unveiling was made at a tourism event attended by industry partners, city officials and department staff at Toyota Stadium’s newly renovated Winners Club.

“Not only is Visit Frisco a call to action, but an invitation to visitors, meeting planners and sports groups,” said Executive Director Marla Roe. “Rebranding as Visit Frisco is a simpler way of engaging with our visitors and provides a clear message to the local community that we are the official Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for the city.”

Along with the change in the organization’s name, Visit Frisco also released its new logo.

“We believe this new, visually appealing logo will be well received by visitors. The simplicity of the logo and inclusion of the state shape of Texas will lend itself as a beneficial tool to advance Frisco as a premier vacation, sports and meetings destination,” said Roe.

“Tourism is a vital, economic engine for the City of Frisco,” said Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney. “The city is growing rapidly as a destination, so as the city grows, so does the messaging and branding to reflect that growth and excitement for our visitors. You can expect to see some new, creative and exciting projects coming from the Visit Frisco team in the future.”
