A Music-Filled May: Academy of Country Music Awards

The Star in Frisco may be the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, but May 14-16, 2024, it hosts stars of a different kind as the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards return to Frisco. The excitement around ACM Week begins with the ACM Country Kickoff at Tostitos Championship Plaza at The Star on Tuesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Hosted by entertainment icon Reba McEntire, the Academy of Country Music Awards show will take place Thursday, May 16, live from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas and will stream live on Prime Video globally and exclusively. The ACM Awards will give fans in Texas and around the world an exclusive invitation to Country Music’s Party of the Year with the biggest stars and unforgettable live performances exclusive to the ACM stage. The star-studded lineup features Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Post Malone, Parker McCollum, Kelsea Ballerini, Noah Kahan, Nate Smith, Avril Lavigne, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani.

Frisco Live Concert Series

Some of the best local music takes the stage throughout Frisco with Frisco Live. This special concert series takes place in intimate venues and at the best hotels across Frisco in collaboration with Melody of Hope, a nonprofit organization that supports and advocates for nonprofits across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex through music.

Musicians and fans can be spotted around town as Frisco turns into the home of country music in May.

In March 2023, something widely known was officially confirmed: Frisco is a Music Friendly Texas Community. This official designation from the Texas Music Office highlights our city's continuing support of musicians, performers, and fans of music in The City That Plays.
