At the heart of Frisco’s 82-acre Sports Village lies Fieldhouse USA, a hub for nearly any indoor sport imaginable with eight full-size volleyball/basketball courts and an indoor turf field perfect for soccer and flag football.

“We’ve created an environment geared for both competitive and recreational athletes in a multipurpose facility designed for safety,” said Adam Bishop, director of operations. “Our goal was to build an entertainment district that’s anchored around sports.”

Fieldhouse USA accommodates a constant rotation of tournaments at every level, serving as host site for Region 10 Special Olympics high school basketball, hosting state basketball and volleyball tournaments for home-schoolers and bringing NCAA-sanctioned open periods to life. Fieldhouse USA hosts about 32 tournaments a year, averaging 5,000 visitors per weekend. More than 1.4 million people come through the doors every year.

“We run the gamut for sports; we have soccer, gymnastics and flag football, as well as cheerleading competitions and paintball,” said Bishop. “We hold the Guinness World Record for having the most pickleball players in one facility at one time.”

In addition, Fieldhouse USA and the rest of the Sports Village bring the best in skills training and league play, sports camps and academies for anyone looking to up his game. Next-door neighbor, EXOS, is available to provide performance training. Dallas Patriots offers baseball skills training. And, just as importantly is the onsite Baylor Medical Center at Frisco Urgent Care Center — Sports Village, with opening hours paralleling the Fieldhouse’s, to provide parents with peace of mind in case of an emergency.
