AC Hotels & Residence Inn by Marriott Open in Frisco
North Texas lifestyle campus opens next gen experience
(Frisco, Texas) August 6, 2019 ~ Marriott International, Inc. announced the opening of its Frisco Station hotels. AC Hotels and the Residence Inn opened in Frisco Station over the weekend and are the first two of four hotels opening within the lifestyle hotel campus. Frisco Station focuses on the total well-being of those who visit, live and work in the area.
The new hotels at the Frisco Station development combine two hotels within the same building, featuring an eight-floor, 150 room AC Hotel and seven-floor, 150 room Residence Inn. The space also features a 3,000 square foot ballroom and media salon and a full-service Starbucks.
“The North Texas area, specifically Frisco, has seen substantial growth and development in the past several years and we wanted to be a part of the excitement,” said Rick Crain, area director of operations for NewcrestImage. “Frisco Station is the first of its kind and I am looking forward to seeing how the new development shapes the area.”
AC Hotel provides a unique and fresh approach to creative, well-traveled and business-minded guests who are constantly on the go. The brand focuses on removing unnecessary aspects of a normal hotel to create a thoughtful and well-designed space. With stylish rooms, a multi-use lounge, custom food and beverage options, along with local art placed throughout the space, AC Hotels will bring an elevated guest experience to the area.
“Our spaces will be located in the heart of Frisco Station and right around the corner from popular local attractions such as The Star and Legacy West, and is a short drive from Downtown Dallas,” said Marissa Maguire, dual general manager for AC Hotel and Residence Inn by Marriott Frisco.
Marriott is working with NewcrestImage for the opening and operation. Located on Frisco Green Avenue, AC Hotels & Residence Inn Frisco is now accepting reservations.
