Frisco’s latest noteworthy accolades include being named Best Sports Business City, by Sports Business Journal, Fastest Rising City by FinanceBuzz, one of the World’s Best Places to Travel in 2024 by Travel Lemming, and recognized as a Music Friendly Texas Certified Community by the Texas Music Office.  

Developments across the city include golf and mixed-use retail, plus art-inspired spaces with room to relax and play. 

HALL Park is undergoing a $7 billion redevelopment plan that will deliver one-of-a-kind experiences to visitors, including Frisco’s first Autograph Collection Hotels property and an art-focused park, both opening in 2024.  

HALL Park Hotel is a 224-key boutique hotel and suites designed to support both short term and longer stays with a state-of-the-art fitness center, chef-driven restaurant and lounge, 4,000 square-foot ballroom, an outdoor pool and expansive patio with gorgeous views, and a museum-quality art collection. 

Kaleidoscope Park will feature public art, architecture and gardens, a children’s play area, dog park, performance lawns, technology terraces, shaded promenades, and plazas. Visitors to the park can enjoy free programming, including concerts, films, music, dance performances, and recreational activities.  

PGA Frisco is home to the new Omni PGA Frisco Resort and PGA of America. In addition to the 500-room resort, PGA Frisco offers 13 dining options, retail, spa, four pools, and an entertainment district complete with a 2-acre putting course, 10-hole par 3 course, and two championship 18-hole golf courses.  

Frisco’s historic Rail District recently opened its first brewery! Three Empires Brewing Company is a locally owned nano craft brewery with eight beer options on tap. 

The Star District, a 91-acre entertainment district and the headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys, has recently added new restaurants, bars, and retail to the already impressive list of tenants. These include Pete's Dueling Piano Bar, La Parisienne French bistro, Miller Lite®House at The Star, Sidecar Social, Cards in a Box sports cards & collectibles, and King Ranch Saddle Shop.  

Coming in 2024, The Star District will add Rachel’s Kitchen fresh casual eatery and Japanese ramen shop, Wabi House.
