Visit Frisco Earns Prestigious Adrian Award 

HSMAI selected Visit Frisco’s Integrated Marketing Campaign Among 800 Entries  

(Frisco, Texas) February 13, 2024 – International hospitality and marketing association, Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), named Visit Frisco winner of a prestigious 2023 Adrian Award. The campaign titled Visit Frisco Takes Over Oklahoma City was selected as the Bronze Medal Winner in the Integrated Campaign, Business to Consumer Category. 

The Adrian Awards recognize travel marketing organizations for innovative sales and marketing efforts in advertising, public relations, and digital marketing. For 67 years the Adrian Awards have honored excellence in travel marketing and embraced every segment of the industry from hotels, airlines, and cruise lines, to destinations, and more. 

Visit Frisco’s Oklahoma City campaign was selected from more than 800 global entries submitted for the 2023 awards. The campaign took place July through August 2023, and featured a takeover of the OKC Dodgers Ballpark, Uber Journey Ads, iHeart Radio, Metro Family Magazine, Billboards, and YouTube shorts. With more than 2.5 million total impressions and a 109% year-over-year increase in web traffic from the Oklahoma City market, the campaign proved to be an innovative approach to reaching a targeted audience.

"From digital to audio and even out-of-home, all messaging was specifically tailored to families focusing on activities and experiences they can enjoy together. We are proud of the results of this campaign and to receive this recognition." 

Award winners will be celebrated at the Adrian Awards ceremony hosted by HSMAI in New York on February 13, 2024.
