Dining at Frisco’s PGA District

A visit to PGA Frisco comes with plenty of reasons to linger. Maybe you’ve just finished a round, maybe you’re there for the views or maybe you’re simply looking for a meal in one of Frisco’s most scenic, hilly (yes, hills) settings. Either way, the dining lineup is a hole-in-one. Spread across PGA Frisco and Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, these spots offer everything from smoky barbecue and shareable starters to breakfast tacos, patio coffee and soft-serve treats.

The Ice House

For a casual, distinctly Texas start, head to The Ice House. This ranch-style venue feels made for post-round refueling, with hearty barbecue, cold drinks and a high-energy atmosphere that fits the PGA District perfectly. The menu leans bold and satisfying, with smoked meats, loaded starters and sandwiches built for big appetites. The Tin Can Nachos are one of the best orders on the menu, layered with burnt ends, queso blanco, cheddar jack, pickled onion, bread-and-butter pickles and pico de gallo. The Brisket Sando is another easy win, and if you’re going all in, order smoked brisket, ribs, sausage or chicken by the plate. Dessert is worth saving room for, too, especially the Banana Icebox Cake or Bacon Brownie.

Ryder Cup Grille

If you want something a little more polished without losing that after-golf ease, Ryder Cup Grille at Fields Ranch Clubhouse is an excellent choice. The setting is part of the appeal here: a comfortable clubhouse feel, golf-minded character and patio seating with course views. The menu centers on elevated American favorites, and it does them well. Start with the TX Provisions, a shareable board loaded with cured meats, pimento dip, Texas cheeses, olives, almonds, honeycomb and charred breads. The Street Corn Caesar is another standout, bringing real personality to a classic, while mains like the Fields Burger, Fish & Chips, and Pork Chop make it easy to settle in and stay awhile.

The Apron

Over at Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, The Apron is the all-day option you can build nearly any meal around. It works for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a relaxed patio bite with a view. In the morning, the Buttermilk Pancakes are a standout, served with bourbon maple syrup and cinnamon butter, while the Morning Sandwich keeps things simple and satisfying. Later in the day, the menu opens up to options like a Caesar, Blackened Redfish Tacos, Cowboy Pizza, and Short Rib. The draw, though, is not just the food. The setting makes The Apron especially easy to love, with a warm, approachable atmosphere and a patio overlooking Fields Ranch that invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment.

Toast & Tee Coffee Collective

For a quicker stop, Toast & Tee Coffee Collective is the PGA District’s easy grab-and-go answer. Located just off the Omni lobby, it’s ideal for mornings when you want coffee in hand and a light breakfast before heading back outside. The menu includes coffee, smoothies, and all-day items like a breakfast taco, Morning Sandwich, wraps, and salads. A particularly good pick is the Spinach & Feta Danish: savory, flaky, and easy to pair with a cup of coffee on the veranda. Sounds like an ideal morning to me.

Margaret’s Cones & Cups

And when it’s time to finish on something sweet, Margaret’s Cones & Cups is the move. This cheerful dessert stop offers parlor scoops, soft-serve, sundaes, floats, shakes and swirls, making it an ideal afternoon cooldown after time in the Texas sun. Flavor options range from mint chocolate chip and cookie dough to TX praline, while signature picks like the Brookie Monster, Banana Pudding, and Strawberry Cheesecake swirl turn dessert into a main event. It’s playful, family-friendly, and exactly the kind of stop that rounds out a day at PGA Frisco.

At the PGA District, the food is part of the experience. You can keep it casual with barbecue and a patio, ease into brunch with course views, grab coffee between plans, or end the day with ice cream. However you spend your time at PGA Frisco, come hungry… this destination is as rewarding for diners as it is for golfers!

There's plenty more to eat at PGA Frisco, from delicious steak at the beautiful Trick Rider to a refreshing drink from The Swing Bar. Explore and enjoy!
