This is the summer of soccer, football, futbol, the beautiful game, or whichever term of endearment you prefer. The largest global sporting event is happening, and Frisco, Texas is celebrating.  

Here’s your guide to soccer-spirited activities across the city, from museums and attractions to restaurants and breweries.   

THE WHOLE DURATION: JUNE 11- JULY 19 

These activities span the entire summer, so stop in and enjoy.  

FC Dallas Soccer Celebration 

The FC Dallas Soccer Celebration transforms Simpson Plaza into a lively fan zone running on every match day. The event offers live watch parties on large screens, interactive activities, live music, and local food and drinks.

TICKETS ARE FREE BUT ARE REQUIRED and going fast.  

Location: Simpson Plaza, 6094 Frisco Square Blvd, Frisco, TX 75034. 
Parking: Available in multiple locations with a City of Frisco circulator. The City Shuttle service schedule is available here
Bag Policy: There is a clear bag policy with any kind of opaque bags prohibited. Clear bags can be any size and will be subject to inspection.

Where Football Happens  

The Star in Frisco is hosting a summer-long celebration for soccer fans, inspired by the excitement of the global game. Visitors can enjoy themed events, match screenings, interactive activities, and exclusive offers throughout The Star District. A mini soccer pitch is available at Tostitos Championship Plaza, where guests can show off their soccer skills and experience the energy.

Parking: Free parking is available throughout lots and parking garages at The Star. 
Tickets: No tickets required.

 

Game Show Experience Futbol Edition 

Experience the World Soccer Championship excitement with the Futbol Edition of the Game Show Experience, a fast-paced, interactive competition featuring soccer-themed challenges and trivia for fans of all levels. 

Location: 6963 Main St, Frisco, TX 75034 
Parking: Free parking is available throughout the Frisco Rail District

Legends of Soccer 

From June 13 through December 2026, the Frisco Heritage Center hosts the Legends of Soccer exhibit, showcasing global soccer icons like Cruyff, Maradona, and Pelé, as well as memorable moments from World Cups. 

Location: 6455 Page St, Frisco, TX 75034   
Parking: Free parking is available in the parking lot near the entrance. 
Tickets: Admission to the museum is free! 
 

National Videogame Museum 

The National Videogame Museum in Frisco features interactive exhibits on video game history, with a special soccer-themed display available throughout the summer.

Admission can be purchased on site.

Parking: Free parking is available at the lots on site. 
 

Rollertown Beerworks 

Watch parties, trading cards, concerts – how do you celebrate Rollertown Beerworks has a banger events calendar you won’t want to miss! 

Location: 6450 Main Street, Frisco TX 75033 
Parking: Free parking lot on the North side of the brewery and area surrounding the silos to the East, free street parking on John Elliott, and on select hours on weekends, there's a complimentary valet service. Rideshare is encouraged. 

 

KidZania 

KidZania Dallas presents KidZania Fan Fest, a World Cup 2026-themed summer event with kids’ soccer tournaments, role-play activities, and a KidZania Stadium. Families can watch games, join challenges, enjoy performances, earn MVP awards, and take themed photos—no soccer experience needed.

TrainTopia & Museum of the America Railroad 

Did you know a soccer ball travels twice as fast as a diesel locomotive? Visit the Museum of the American Railroad to learn and explore TrainTopia’s model trains, guided tours, and hidden miniature soccer balls.

Monster Mini Golf 

Take a break from cheering and step inside to putt and play at Monster Mini Golf. Monster Mini Golf is offering $2 off of mini golf for guests wearing a soccer jersey.

June 13, 20, 25, July 4, 11, 19 – Summer Saturdays | The Star 

Enjoy Summer Saturdays at The Star District with screenings of top soccer tournament matches like Qatar vs. Switzerland, Brazil vs. Morocco, and more at Tostitos Championship Plaza. Play on the mini soccer pitch and soak up the global soccer spirit in Frisco.  

June 17 - Movie Night: Kicking and Screaming | The Star 

Head to The Star in Frisco for a family-friendly movie night under the stars for a free outdoor screening of the soccer comedy classic, Kicking & Screaming, on Wednesday, June 17th at Tostitos Championship Plaza. Showtime starts at 7:00 PM and the plaza opens at 6:00 PM! 

June 20 – Science of Sports | Sci-Tech Discovery Center 

Meet sports professionals, learn how athletes train and fuel, and join soccer STEM activities—all free with museum admission.

The Sci-Tech Maker Studio offers engineering soccer safety gear and robotic kicking machines. Build and test protective equipment on dummies, create a robotic leg to kick a ball, and use motors and coding to bring your project to life. 

June 27 - Flea Style Match Day Market | The Star 

Join the Flea Style Match Day Market at The Star, presented by Michaels, on Saturday, June 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Explore a selection of vendors showcasing unique, handmade goods, fashion, art, and accessories inspired by global influences.

July 19 – Summer of Soccer STEM | Sci-Tech Discovery Center 

Beat the summer heat with a cold and creamy treat! Check out a liquid nitrogen ice cream show (Samples included!) and enjoy the A/C as wrap up the summer of soccer STEM. Learn about why athletes sweat, how outdoor athletes stay sun safe, and more!

A Taste of Sweden 

Frisco is the Base Camp for the Sweden National Team, meaning the team and staff stays and trains in Frisco. You may see yellow and blue dotted around the city to help welcome the team and fans. Hej hej to our Swedish visitors!

The Frisco Bar & Grill serving a special drink menu and Swedish Meatball Sliders with a savory sauce and lingonberry jam. Their ‘All for the Fans Global Soccer’ cocktail menu includes a Swedish Negroni, Elderflower Collins, Dala Horse, Swedish 76, Mini Martini, and Swede Ice Tea.
