Brunch, pizza, ramen, sushi, soft serve and beyond?! Here’s where to chow down at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

If you’re spending time at The Star District in Frisco, come with your best appetite. This walkable hub is for Dallas Cowboys fans and game-day energy, but it’s also one of the best spots in Frisco to build an entire day around good food. Whether you’re craving brunch, a cozy bowl of ramen, a pizza night, sushi for date night or a sweet treat to end things on a high note, The Star has you covered.

For a Brunch You’ll Forever Crave: Ascension Coffee

Start your day at Ascension, a stylish coffeehouse known for premium slow-roasted coffee, housemade ingredients and one of the best brunch scenes around. The vibe is polished but relaxed, making it just as good for a catch-up with friends as it is for a solo breakfast. If you want an easy order, go for the Bacon + Egg Brekky on your choice of bagel or croissant. It’s simple, satisfying and exactly the kind of breakfast that sets the tone for a good day. If you’re lingering, pair it with their premium coffee and settle in awhile.

For Some ’Za: Cane Rosso

This DFW favorite has earned its reputation for authentic wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, and the Frisco location keeps that standard high. The dough is fermented for days, the mozzarella is made in-house daily and every pie comes out of a blazing-hot imported oven with that signature lightly charred crust. A classic Margherita always delivers, but the real must-order is the Honey Bastard: housemade mozzarella, hot soppressata, bacon marmalade and habanero honey. It’s sweet, spicy, smoky and wildly craveable.

For a Sushi Roll: Musume

If the plan calls for something a little more elevated, book a table at Musume. One of the newer additions to The Star, Musume brings a sleek, modern energy to the district with beautifully plated sushi, sashimi, specialty rolls and standout hot dishes. It works for celebrations, stylish dinners out or, quite frankly, anytime you want a meal to feel like an occasion. With fresh fish flown in daily from Japan, omakase options, and one of the most impressive sake selections around (combined with their other locations, they house the largest sake selection in North America), Musume gives The Star a polished date-night anchor.

For a Bowl of Something Warm and Cozy: Wabi House

Already beloved in Dallas, this ramen favorite made its Frisco debut in 2024 and quickly became a go-to for lunch, happy hour and dinner. The star here is the ramen, built around a rich 18-hour broth, but don’t skip the izakaya-style small plates. The karaage—Japanese fried chicken served with watermelon and spicy aioli—is one of those dishes you’ll be dreaming about for weeks. Add a heartwarming bowl of ramen, and you’ve got the perfect comfort meal!

Room for more? This is only a taste of all the dining options at The Star.
