As the 2025 holiday season arrives, Frisco, Texas transforms into a winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights, festive cheer, and enchanting Christmas tree lightings. From the iconic tree at Frisco Square to the charming community celebrations, this vibrant city offers a warm embrace of holiday traditions. Kaleidoscope Park Tree Lighting | Nov. 21

The park festivities will kick off with the Holly Jolly Stroll and Roll, a joyful, on-foot parade through the Park on Friday, November 21, beginning at 6 p.m. Participants are encouraged to decorate strollers, wagons, or wheelchairs, and join their neighbors in spreading holiday cheer. The stroll is accessible for all ages and abilities, and even pets are welcome to join in the fun. North Texas Performing Arts will take the stage for a holiday show at 6:30 p.m. The Park’s second annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will follow at 7 p.m., when visitors can watch the Park’s 45-foot Enchanted Christmas Tree come to life with more than 42,000 synchronized lights dancing to music. From 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., the full Plano Symphony Orchestra will perform, and visitors can also enjoy complimentary cocoa and cookies, children’s crafts and activities, and a mini train and sleigh.

Cowboys Christmas Extravaganza | Nov. 21, 22, 28, 29, Dec. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20

This tree lighting happens every Friday and Saturday evening at 6 p.m. from November 21 through December 20! The Dallas Cowboys will host the eighth annual Cowboys Christmas Extravaganza powered by Reliant at The Star in Frisco. The show kicks off with a dazzling performance by the world-famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, followed by the lighting of The Star’s 67-foot LED Christmas tree.

Main Street Tree Lighting | Nov. 29

Support the great downtown businesses during Small Business Saturday. Start the holiday season in the Frisco Rail District on Saturday, November 29 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Celebrate by decorating the tree on the lawn of Randy's Steakhouse at the corner of 5th and Main Street. There will be live music, an ornament hunt, and visits with Santa and Mrs. Clause. The tree will light up at 5:30 p.m.

Complimentary shuttle service makes it simple to support local businesses during construction. Hop on and off throughout the afternoon to discover all the wonderful shops and restaurants along the route. Check off your holiday shopping list, grab a drink, or just enjoy the holiday spirit!

Musical Tree Lighting | Nov. 29, Dec. 6, 13, 20

As part of PGA Frisco's first Home on The Range for The Holidays event of the year on Saturday, November 29, enjoy a complimentary holiday drone show following a 6:00pm tree lighting ceremony! Each Saturday through December 20th, families are encouraged to gather around the magical musical tree for a tree lighting ceremony with Santa as part of the Home on the Range for The Holidays festivities.

Merry Main Street & City Tree Lighting | Dec. 6

Join in the fun as the City of Frisco hosts an event full of activities from a food vendors, music and dance performances, and, of course, the tree lighting at 6 p.m. in Simpson Plaza in Frisco Square.
