Frisco is gearing up for an unforgettable stretch of championship golf, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome visitors from near and far to PGA Frisco, one of the game’s most dynamic new destinations.

As the home of Fields Ranch East and West, two world‑class courses crafted in partnership with the PGA of America, Omni Hotels & Resorts, the City of Frisco, and Frisco ISD, our city is proud to host upcoming events that spotlight young talents, rising stars, and the legends we cheer for. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or brand new to watching golf, these three championships offer a perfect reason to plan your next trip to Frisco.

PGA of America Growing the Game

Since 1916, the PGA of America’s mission has included elevating the standards of the profession and growing interest and participation in golf. Delivering world-class championships is one way the PGA of America elevates the public’s interest in golf and the desire to play more of it.

The 2026 Junior PGA Championships

The Junior PGA Championships stand as one of the most prestigious events in junior golf. Many of today’s top players, such as Tiger Woods, Rose Zhang, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Lexi Thompson, Yuka Saso, Scottie Scheffler, Akshay Bhatia, Inbee Park and Sam Burns, began their competitive journeys here.

In 2026, a field of 312 players (156 girls and 156 boys), all 18 years of age or younger as of July 31, will compete on both Fields Ranch East and West from July 28–31. Local talent will shine, too, with 15 competitors from the Dallas–Fort Worth area, including Flower Mound’s Honorine Nobuta-Ferry, currently ranked No. 12 and Dallas native Brooks Harper, who will play at the University of Texas.

Spectators can enjoy the entire event free of charge. No tickets are required, and complimentary parking is available at Fields Ranch and The District. It’s an easy, family-friendly way to experience the next generation of championship golfers in action.

The 13u PGA Jr. League Championship

PGA Jr. League is the PGA of America REACH Foundation’s flagship youth program, built around the belief that golf can enrich lives through meaningful experiences. With guidance from dedicated PGA Coaches, young players learn the game in safe, encouraging environments across three age divisions: 9u, 13u and 17u. Frisco will once again welcome the 13u PGA Jr. League Championship from November 11–15, 2026, hosted at Fields Ranch West. Twelve All‑Star teams will compete, bringing energy, team spirit and impressive talent to the course. As with the Junior PGA Championships, no ticket is required for spectators, and complimentary parking will be available at Fields Ranch and The District. If you’re looking for a great introduction to youth golf or a fun outing for the whole family, this championship is a perfect fit.

The 2027 PGA Championship

In May 2027, one of golf’s four Major Championships arrives in Frisco: the PGA Championship. This iconic event brings together the top male players in the world, all competing for the Rodman Wanamaker Trophy and a chance to leave their mark on golf history. With global broadcast coverage reaching nearly 500 million households across more than 170 countries, Fields Ranch East will be at the center of worldwide attention.

The 109th PGA Championship will take place May 17–23, 2027, featuring a 156‑player field.

Record demand pushes ticket experiences near sellout, but Championship+ tickets remain for Monday through Wednesday, with limited availability Thursday and Friday. These tickets offer exceptional value with unlimited entrée items, snacks, and non‑alcoholic beverages at on‑course concession markets.

Junior admission is also offered through PGA's junior admission policy. Guests aged 15 and under receive free grounds access when accompanied by a ticketed adult (with up to two free junior tickets per adult).

Those interested in purchasing tickets, securing hospitality experiences, or volunteering are encouraged to visit pgachampionship.com while inventory remains.
