A Night Out in Frisco

I can’t remember the last time my husband and I had a date night without the kids. If you’re in the same boat as us, then this post is for you. Frisco is a great place to plan an adult, parents' or friends' night out. We spent 24 hours in Frisco without the kids and these were some of our favorite spots.

Play

Axe Throwing at Strikz Entertainment

'Axe' me what one of my favorite adult things to do in Frisco? It's axe throwing! This is one of many things to do at Strikz, but it's great for small and large groups, ages 18 and up. It’s great for the competitive couple or if you just like to learn a new skill. Make your reservations a few days ahead so you have an alley reserved.

Insider tip: don’t forget to wear closed-toe shoes!

Eat

Nerdvana

If you and your partner enjoy playing video games, Nerdvana is your place. Located in Frisco Square, Nerdvana Frisco is a restaurant and bar focused on contemporary American dining, craft beer and video games. Nerdvana offers delicious food and drinks with a side of game play. You can choose from a variety of game systems in a video game booth or traditional board games at the table. A night out should be all about connecting with your partner and Nerdvana gives you that opportunity.

Norma's Café

After a fun and long night out, you’re going to want a great place for breakfast. Norma’s Café is like dining at home with your mom’s cooking (if your mom is an amazing cook).

Norma’s Café offers home cooking and huge portions. From eNORMAus breakfasts to their Blue Plate Specials, every Texas-size dish at Norma’s Cafe is made with the highest quality ingredients and will have you coming back for more.

Stay

Hyatt Regency Frisco

Extending date-night with a hotel stay is a great way to enjoy your evening to the fullest. At the Hyatt Regency Frisco, you can enjoy the hotel's modern and luxurious accommodations, head next door to nearly 200 shops and restaurants at Stonebriar Centre mall, or take a short drive from the hotel to more entertainment, nightlife and dining.

Their pool is the ideal place to kick back and relax, and when you’re ready to have a drink or some food, the hotel offers four on-site dining outlets, including a late-hour restaurant and a market featuring coffee, tea and snacks.
