Held on May 5, Cinco de Mayo is a celebration in observance of the Mexican army’s victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. A relatively minor holiday in Mexico, in the United States Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a celebration of Mexican culture, heritage and a day to indulge in Mexican cuisine.

La Hacienda Ranch
