With the holidays fast approaching, the time to celebrate the season is here. From light shows and tree lightings to flying acrobats and Santa Claus, here is a list of holiday and Christmas events in Frisco to keep you just as jolly as the big man in the red suit.
Christmas in the Square – Taking place November 21 through January 5, 2026, Christmas in the Square is the largest choreographed lights and music display in North Texas. The nightly show begins at 6 p.m. and features more than 175,000 lights, 11.5 miles of wiring and over 8 miles of extension cords. Christmas in the Square also features an outdoor ice skating rink, carriage rides, Christmas tree lot and much more.
Merry Main Street* – Kick off the Christmas season in Frisco at Merry Main Street on Saturday, December 6 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This annual event features the lighting of The City of Frisco Christmas Tree in front of the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, as well as Santa’s arrival, live reindeer, carriage rides and more. Merry Main Street is a free event; however, some activities do require a fee.
PGA Frisco - The PGA District will host Home on the Range for the Holidays, a series of free events for both resort guests and the general public. From 5 to 8 p.m. each Saturday evening November 30-December 21, the PGA District will come to life with the spirit of the holiday season. Each night of the event, families are encouraged to gather around the magical, musical tree for a tree lighting ceremony with Cowboy Santa at 6 p.m. On the first night of Home on the Range for the Holidays, November 30, the tree lighting will be followed by a spectacular drone show.
Activities and experiences are around each corner, as guests can encounter live reindeer, festive holiday characters, a photo opportunity with a real longhorn, and trips on the Fields Ranch Holiday Express train. Children can write and mail letters to Santa and cozy up for beloved holiday movies on the video wall adjacent to The Dance Floor.
All restaurants in the PGA District will offer curated food and beverage options, and pop-up stations highlighting holiday treats, snacks, and cocoa (regular and boozy) for purchase.
Photos with Santa – Make time to see Santa and tell him all of your Christmas wishes at Photos with Santa at Stonebriar Centre. Skip the line and reserve your time with Santa beforehand; however, reservations and photo purchases are not required. For a complete list of times, visit shopstonebriar.com.
Breakfast with Santa – Enjoy brunch with Santa, Grinch, Olaf & Elf On The Shelf at The Revel on December 14.
