Diwali Night at The Mango Yard will take place Sunday, November 8, from 5 to 10 p.m. The special vegetarian dishes and festive beverages will be available à la carte alongside the regular menu, with all items priced individually. Reservations are available through OpenTable or Resy. For more information about The Mango Yard, visit www.themangoyard.com.

Led by acclaimed Culinary Director Balpreet Singh Chadha, and assisted by Executive Chef, Sukesh Kale, the restaurant will offer a special vegetarian menu inspired by traditional Indian flavors and the spirit of the holiday, alongside its regular menu. The celebration will continue on Friday, November 13, with a special performance by UTD Laksh, the University of Texas at Dallas's award-winning Bollywood fusion dance team.

The November 8 celebration will feature a selection of à la carte dishes created for the occasion, including Pani Puri, crisp puris filled with tangy spiced water and traditional accompaniments; Chilli Butter Naan with Paneer Ghotala, featuring grated paneer in a rich onion-tomato gravy; and Gongura Pulao, an aromatic rice dish highlighting the tangy leafy green commonly used in South Indian cuisine. Guests can also enjoy festive desserts such as Saffron Makhan Malai, a delicate, airy milk-foam dessert infused with saffron, and specialty beverages including Mango Thandai, a creamy twist on the traditional spiced milk drink, and the Mumbai Mule, featuring ginger, citrus, coriander, cumin and saffron. The evening will be accompanied by live music and performances from popular Dallas based bollywood band Band Tatva.
