Run for the Rita 5K at Kaleidoscope Park

Join us Saturday May 9 2026 at Kaleidoscope Park in Frisco for the inaugural Run for the Rita 5K Presented by Slick City. This exciting new event combines a scenic run with a festive finish line celebration.

Festivities begin at 8 am with the race starting at 9 am. The course will take participants on a fun and energetic 5K through Frisco before returning to Kaleidoscope Park for the best part a refreshing handcrafted Addictivo Tequila margarita waiting at the finish line.

Registration is 40 dollars and includes entry into the chip timed 5K race an official Run for the Rita t shirt a custom race bib a finisher medal and a margarita for participants 21 and older. Prices will increase as the event approaches so early registration is encouraged.

After crossing the finish line stick around for the post race celebration featuring local vendors a Run for the Rita themed photo booth food trucks and fun photo opportunities. It is the perfect way to kick off Mothers Day weekend with friends and family.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the Top Overall Male and Female finishers

Awards will also be given to the top male and female finishers in each age group 14 and under 15 to 19 20 to 29 30 to 39 40 to 49 50 to 59 and 60 plus
