Dallas Renegades

The Dallas Renegades of the United Football League will play home games at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, beginning with the 2026 season. The Renegades franchise has been a staple of professional spring football in North Texas since 2020. Originally founded as the Dallas Renegades in 2020, the team returned in 2023 as the Arlington Renegades in the XFL, playing at Choctaw Stadium. Under legendary head coach Bob Stoops, the Renegades captured the 2023 XFL Championship, beating the DC Defenders in San Antonio. Following the 2024 merger that created the UFL, the Renegades competed in Arlington through the 2025 season.

Dallas Pulse

North Texas’ first women’s professional volleyball team, Dallas Pulse, will play the inaugural 2026 season at Frisco's Comerica Center. Dallas-Fort Worth has long been a powerhouse for volleyball, producing elite athletes through nationally recognized club programs, championship high school teams and leading collegiate programs. Dallas Pulse brings to this thriving community and its fans and supporters a major league professional team to call their own. 

Musume at The Star

Opened September 2025, Musume brings an elevated Japanese dining experience to Frisco. The renowned Asian and sushi restaurant from Dallas-based Rock Libations Restaurant Group, is now open at The Star in Frisco. Located at 3625 The Star Boulevard, Suite 315 (2nd floor), the highly anticipated 6,000-square-foot restaurant offers lunch, happy hour, and dinner menus. Guests can now indulge in Musume’s signature dishes, exclusive new creations, and the region’s largest sake and Japanese whisky selections.

Hudson House

Vandelay Hospitality Group's popular concept Hudson House is now open in Frisco. Inspired by the rich culinary history of the Hudson Valley, Hudson House aims to pair that style of comfort food with the neighborhood vibe of the West Village in New York City.

Dallas Open

A unique partnership between GF Sports & Entertainment and the Dallas Cowboys brought the franchise known worldwide for football into the realm of professional tennis. With its upgrade to an ATP 500-level tournament, the Dallas Open brings pro tennis players from around the world to Ford Center at The Star in Frisco - the Dallas Cowboys World Corporate Headquarters and Training Facility. The inaugural event was held February 1-9, 2025 and will return in February 7-15, 2026.

Dude Perfect Headquarters | DPHQ3

The new offices of YouTube superstars Dude Perfect opened inside The Star Business Park in North Frisco. DPHQ3 represents the group’s next phase of growth and will support large-scale content production, community events, activations with athletes and more.  

Active Arena

In May 2025, Active Arena opened in Frisco, bringing 15+ interactive experiences that blend physical games with cutting-edge tech—perfect for families, date nights, or group hangouts. Interactive games are built for laughs, adrenaline, and unforgettable memories. At Active Arena, the goal is to provide a fun and safe space where guests can try exciting new experiences—and maybe even get inspired to explore them in real life.

Kaleidoscope Park & HALL Park Hotel

HALL Park Hotel and Kaleidoscope Park opened in late 2024. Kaleidoscope Park is a place where nature meets culture and art abounds. This 6-acre dynamic, innovative arts and culture destination is home to free, year-round public programming, including films, diverse musical and dance performances, and a variety of health and recreational activities.

PGA Frisco

The new PGA of America headquarters anchors PGA Frisco, a 660-acre mixed-use development with a public-private investment worth more than half a billion dollars. PGA Frisco is planning to host an unprecedented cadence of championships, with 23 already in the books for a 13-year span. Omni PGA Frisco Resort opened May 2023 and features 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, Lounge by Topgolf, over 127,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, an entertainment district with dining, shopping, and an outdoor stage. The resort offers two 18-hole championship golf courses (Fields Ranch East and West), a lighted 10-hole short course (The Swing), and a lighted two-acre putting green (The Dance Floor), totaling 46 holes.

Frisco Station

Frisco Station continues to expand, which includes 2,400 urban residences, retail, hospitality, wellness, parks and trails, and more, all within walking distance of the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters.

In one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S., there are numerous projects currently in the works in Frisco, Texas. From new hotels and attractions to shopping and dining options for residents and visitors, we've compiled a list of what's on the horizon.

Rollertown Beerworks

Rollertown Beerworks broke ground on their new headquarters in March 2024. Located at 6448 Main Street on a 2.6+ acre Downtown tract featuring Frisco’s landmark silos. This space will be ideal for hosting large-scale events, festivals, and concerts. The production facility features a brew house with a 13,000+ sq. ft. two-level indoor/outdoor taproom, beer garden, and rooftop deck. Rollertown is expected to open in October 2025.

Universal Kids Resort

Universal Destinations & Experiences broke ground in 2023 on Universal Kids Resort – the company’s first-ever theme park designed specifically for families with young children. Located at the Northeast corner of Panther Creek Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco, Texas, this imaginative, original resort brings the company’s innovative style of storytelling to a new, younger audience with immersive lands where creativity and play rule the day. Expected to open Summer 2026.

Downtown Improvements

The historic downtown Frisco Rail District, is undergoing a $68 million redevelopment project. Phases of the project include Elm Street construction (complete), Main Street construction (began July 2024 and estimated to take about a year and a half), a Fourth Street Plaza, and a five-story downtown parking garage. All four projects are expected to be complete in 2026.

Dick's House of Sport

Located in Stonebriar Centre, Dick's Sports Goods' concept will offer retail and activities. Construction started November 2025. The store is expected to be open in 2026.

Fields Frisco & Fields West

Located on the southwest corner of U.S. Highway 380 and Preston Road, Fields, a 2,544-acre mixed use development, is a project of Hunt Realty Investments and Karahan Companies. Development began in 2021. Fields West is a 55-acre urban village in the heart of the greater Fields development, a 2,500-acre master-planned community. 

Fields West is led by developer Fehmi Karahan, President & CEO of The Karahan Companies, who is known for creating Legacy West, one of North Texas’ most successful mixed-use developments, Karahan is now bringing that same world-class standard to Frisco. Fields West will bring 350,000 square feet of shopping, dining, and entertainment and 325,000 square feet of Class A office space seamlessly integrated into the vibrant walkable mixed-use center. In addition, 1,200 high-end urban residences are being built in partnership with Columbus Realty Partners above the restaurant and retail space.

Fields West will feature a variety of national brands, boutique retailers, and first-to-market locations with some of the most sought-after names in fashion, beauty, and home décor. Among them, Bloomie’s, Bloomingdale’s innovative, ever-evolving store concept, will open its first Texas location at Fields West. Other highly anticipated retailers include Alo Yoga, Arhaus, Kendra Scott, Pottery Barn, Sephora, Williams Sonoma, and more. Elevating the dining experience, Fields West will be home to an outstanding collection of restaurants, from local favorites to national icons. Guests can enjoy standout concepts like Green Point, Claremont, Mexican Sugar, Sixty Vines, and Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar, while Mastro’s Steakhouse – one of the most revered names in fine dining – will open its first DFW location, bringing its signature blend of sophistication and indulgence to the region.  

Construction has begun, and the opening will be sequenced starting in Q3 2027 into 2028.

The Link

The Link is a $1 billion, 240-acre mixed-use addition to PGA Frisco. It will include a mix of Class A office, destination retail, luxury residential, dynamic entertainment, boutique hospitality and sports-focused wellness uses. The project's first phase broke ground in 2023.

The Gate

This $700-million luxurious mixed-use development is set on a 41-acre campus and features 900,000 square feet of Class A office space over three buildings, a 225-room hotel, two high-rise condo towers, and room for 100,000 square feet of restaurants and retail.

Firefly Park

Firefly Park is a 230-acre mixed-use project that will be located at the southwest corner of US 380 and the Dallas North Tollway. The development is slated to bring about 30 acres of park space, 2,200 residential units, and 650,000 square feet of office space. The first phase of Firefly Park will include a 200-room boutique hotel, office space and green space.

Grand Park

When complete, Frisco's Grand Park will span 1,011 acres from the Dallas North Tollway west to Lake Lewisville and FM423. The north portion of the park includes these districts designed to play, explore, discover and connect: Civic Park, Adventure Play, Sports Park, Botanic Gardens and Nature Area, and a Nature Center. Features of Grand Park will include ponds, playgrounds, splash pad, climbing structure, table tennis, pickleball courts, sand volleyball, soccer and baseball field, basketball courts, skate park, disc golf, beach, boardwalks, sculpture garden, water fountains, rode garden, labyrinth, nature center, restrooms, about 14 miles of trails, and more. Phase 1 of construction is scheduled to begin by fall 2025.

The Mix

The Mix, a 112-acre mixed-use development in Frisco, located at the southeast corner of Lebanon Road and Dallas Parkway includes plans for two-million square feet of new class-A office space, 375,000 square feet of retail space, two hotels, townhomes, and urban living units. The $3 billion development will feature a large park and include more than 16 acres of open space throughout the development. The City of Frisco approved the Master Development Agreement October 2024 and celebrated the ground breaking in early 2025.
