Record Demand Pushes Premium Experiences Near Sellout for 2027 PGA Championship
FRISCO, Texas (July 22, 2026) ー Demand for the 2027 PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco has reached a significant milestone, with weekend Championship+ tickets, multiple premium hospitality offerings and nearly all corporate hospitality inventory now sold out almost a year before the Championship begins. The unprecedented demand highlights the excitement surrounding the return of men’s Major Championship golf to North Texas after more than six decades.
The 109th PGA Championship, scheduled for May 17-23, 2027, will mark the first PGA Championship to be played at PGA Frisco, the home of the PGA of America. Interest in the 2027 PGA Championship reached record levels this spring, with over 150,000 ticket registrations submitted, the highest total in Championship history.
“The excitement surrounding the 2027 PGA Championship at PGA Frisco continues to build,” said Jason Mengel, Championship Director. “We’ve seen tremendous demand from spectators, companies and volunteers who want to be part of this historic Championship. The PGA Championship annually features the strongest field in golf as 156 of the world’s top players, including 20 PGA of America Golf Professionals, compete for the iconic Wanamaker Trophy. The 2027 PGA Championship is expected to attract approximately 200,000 attendees from across Texas and the nation, while broadcast coverage will reach nearly 500 million households in more than 170 countries worldwide.

All Championship+ ticket holders may redeem unlimited entree items, snack items, and non-alcoholic beverages at all on-course concession markets. Each time a Championship+ ticket holder visits a concession venue they can receive one (1) entrée item, one (1) snack item, and one (1) non-alcoholic beverage.
The PGA Championship is proud to once again offer a junior admission policy where ages 15 & under receive free grounds access when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Children under the age of two do not need a ticket for grounds access. A maximum of two free junior grounds tickets per adult can be collected on-site.
Corporate Hospitality
Demand for corporate hospitality continues at a record pace. After twice expanding its inventory to meet unprecedented demand, the PGA of America has now sold out every large on-course hospitality offerings.

Volunteer interest has also been exceptionally strong, with all committees filled except the PGA Shops Committee, where only a limited number of positions remain available.

The 2027 PGA Championship will be contested on Fields Ranch East, the Gil Hanse-designed championship course at PGA Frisco. The Championship also marks the 100-year anniversary of Walter Hagen's victory at the 1927 PGA Championship at Cedar Crest Country Club in Dallas. The last men’s Major Championship played in Dallas-Fort Worth came in 1963, when a young Jack Nicklaus captured the PGA Championship at Dallas Athletic Club. Appropriately, Walter Hagen and Jack Nicklaus remain the PGA Championship's most decorated winners, each capturing the Wanamaker Trophy a record five times.
