Visit Frisco Introduces Frankie, an AI Assistant to Inform and Welcome Visitors

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Visit Frisco launched Frankie, an AI assistant chatbot, on visitfrisco.com.   A seamlessly integrated, curated chatbot experience allows users to efficiently navigate through Visit Frisco’s content, serving valuable recommendations for their trip to Frisco.

Serving as an FAQ tool, the chatbot presents the user with suggested partner hotels, restaurants, shops, and event information. It provides an opportunity to contact the Visit Frisco team for additional guidance and can potentially serve meeting planners who are enquiring about events and hotels within Frisco.

The Visit Frisco team will benefit from a chatbot integration with enhanced insights into visitor demographics and behaviors, increased opportunities to surface partner information, and additional touchpoints for first-party data collection.

Frankie relies primarily on content sourced from the Visit Frisco website. It aligns with Visit Frisco’s marketing pillars, voice, and tone.

An element of surprise and delight is built into the chatbot as an extension of the playful Visit Frisco brand, utilizing photos, a ‘Did you know?’ interaction, and an option for ’Surprise me!’ when interacting with Frankie.

Implementation with vendor partner GuideGeek began in August, followed by indexing, staging, and two rounds of testing which concluded in October. This soft launch of the chatbot on November 4 means visitfrisco.com users will see a discreet soccer ball icon and short introduction message on the website. If a user engages with Frankie, a window will expand to allow for questions, answers, links, photos, and maps to surface.
