The Tween & Teen Weekend Escape

Whether you’re a tween or teen – or a parent looking for ideas – Frisco, Texas is ready to show you the ultimate weekend getaway. Enjoy a front-row seat to fun dining experiences and live sports best enjoyed with friends.

Day 1

Morning: Slick Action Park

After breakfast at your hotel, slide into a weekend of fun starting at Slick Action Park. Zip down massive slides, get big air with a trapeze, and add extra bounce to basketball on the air court at this park that’s perfect for all ages.

Lunch: Dad Jokes Cheesyburgers

What did one wall say to another wall? I’ll meet you in the corner. After you’ve worked up an appetite, head over to Dad Jokes Cheesyburgers for some knee-slapping jokes and belly-filling smashburgers in the Frisco Rail District.

Afternoon: National Soccer Hall of Fame

Get hands (and feet) on with the beautiful game at the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Interactive games and activities bring the game to life while showcasing the biggest moments, players, and builders in American soccer history.

Dinner: Nerdvana Frisco

Head across the street from the hall of fame to Nerdvana, a place where screen time is okay at the dinner table. This scratch kitchen celebrates all things games, with both videogames and board games available to play while hanging out and dining. Please note that an adult must be at tables with guests under 18.

Evening: FC Dallas

After learning all about soccer earlier in the day, it’s time to head back to Toyota Stadium to cheer on FC Dallas. The MLS team has played in Frisco since 2005. Check out our blog for more inspiration for game day experiences.

Day 2

Morning: Stonebriar Centre

Start your day with shopping at one of the top malls in DFW. The Stonebriar Centre has an extensive selection of stores, a Dave & Busters, book stores, an escape room, food court, and more. Everyone in the group will find somewhere to browse.

Lunch: La Hacienda Ranch

Get a true taste of Texas at La Hacienda Ranch, a Frisco favorite serving Tex-Mex with Mesquite-grilled fajitas, fresh tortillas, and refreshing beverages. This restaurant can host larger groups for birthday parties and big family meals.

Afternoon: Monster Mini Golf

You don’t have to look far to find golf experiences in Frisco. Monster Mini Golf offers mini golf, mini bowling, a laser maze, and arcade all under one roof. It’s a fun place for a family outing and group bookings are available for friend groups and birthday parties.

Evening: Frisco RoughRiders

Watching a Frisco RoughRiders baseball game at Riders Field is a truly unique experience. After all, it’s the only professional baseball team to have a lazy river at its stadium. The lazy river can be booked by groups or individuals depending on age and the day of the week.
