Northwest Community Park is located north of Panther Creek Pkwy along Teel Pkwy near the PGA of America headquarters and golf courses. This new park is a precious community asset for Frisco and a destination for the wider region. Acres of restored and enhanced Blackland Prairie are a refuge for wildlife and an immersive retreat for visitors. Miles of trails for hikers, runners, and cyclists weave through the site, connecting playgrounds, a splash pad, plazas, and gardens. Richly integrated interpretive and educational features inspire and inform the park’s visitors about the rare and rapidly-disappearing Blackland Prairie, the foundation and centerpiece of the 120-acre site.
