With summertime in full swing now, refreshing acai bowls, smoothies and juices are the best way to nourish your body and stay cool. Here is our list of the top four places to go in Frisco to find your next healthy meal.

Smoothie Zone at Family Health Market

Family Health Market is your ultimate destination for all things health and wellness. From mouthwatering smoothies, açaí bowls, soups, and sandwiches to a wide selection of top-quality vitamins, supplements, and sports nutrition products, all at some of the most competitive prices in the metroplex, they have it all.
What sets them apart even more is the presence of a certified nutritional health coach on-site, ready to answer your questions and help you make informed choices.
During our visit, we couldn’t resist stopping by Smoothie Zone to refuel. We tried the açaí bowl, and the Mango Tango fruit smoothie, which are crafted from the finest fruits and vegetables and can be blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients to promote a healthy lifestyle. For a quick to go meal, try their southwest chicken wrap.

The Nest Café

The Nest Café is your go-to destination for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, and if it isn’t already a favorite, it’s about to be. Known for its generous menu featuring specialty coffee, teas, hearty bowls, benedicts, gourmet toasts, sandwiches, waffles, and fresh salads, The Nest now has something new to love: a refreshing lineup of smoothies. We tried the vibrant, energizing smoothies along with the açaí bowl and granola bowl. The base of the acai bowls was delicious, made with organic acai, banana, coconut milk, and blueberry compote. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty brunch or something light and nourishing, make The Nest Café your next stop.

Cafe Acai

Cafe Acai is a unique acai bowl shop in Frisco. Their Pakistani/Desi touch makes this juice shop different from the rest. They serve up some amazing acai/pitaya bowls, smoothies, and juices made with fresh ingredients, no dairy, and no added sugars. Dive into their Heavenly Acai bowl - a fan favorite! Packed with fresh fruits and topped with granola, it's a perfect blend of sweet and crunchy. We also loved the Nutty Pitaya bowl, blended with creamy almond butter and cashew milk for a rich, nutty twist. Pair their beef samosa, or Chicken Seekh Kabob, and Malai Boti from their new grill menu with a Tropical Temptation smoothie for the perfect blend of spiced flavors and refreshing vibes. From vibrant acai bowls to savory sandwiches, and fusion dishes, they've got something for every palate. We love the eclectic variety on Cafe Acais menu! It's a must try this summer, if you haven't been already!

Salubrious

Salubrious means ‘to promote health' and that's exactly what the owner of Frisco's oldest organic juice and smoothie shop intends to do! Give your body the fuel it needs to feel energized and healthy in the most delicious way. Salubrious offers mouth-watering smoothies, acai bowls, juices, coffee, paninis, and avocado toast. They only use 100% fresh and organic ingredients. Our go to is the Acai Boost Bowl with a base of acai, strawberry and bananas and topped with organic granola, banana, strawberry and coconut flakes. We also tried the Evergreen smoothie and the Pink Dragon smoothie, which had the right hint of sweetness. You can even pick up a cold-pressed juice from Salubrious such as the Mean Green and the Rise and Shine which tastes so refreshing.
