FRISCO, TEXAS – The holidays are fast approaching and the time to celebrate the season is almost here. From light shows and tree lightings to shopping deals and Santa Claus, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the holiday spirit in Frisco.

Christmas in the Square

Taking place November 19 through January 2, Christmas in the Square is one of the largest choreographed lights and music display in North Texas. The nightly show begins at 6 p.m. and features more than 175,000 lights, 11.5 miles of wiring and over 8 miles of extension cords. Visitors may tune in to 107.3 FM on the radio in their vehicles or listen to the music piped through speakers as they take a walk through the Square. Christmas in the Square event will also feature Park Place Lexus Plano Skate the Square, an outdoor ice-skating rink, as well as a Christmas tree lot. The light and music show are free to experience. Cowboys Christmas Extravaganza

The Dallas Cowboys will host Cowboys Christmas Extravaganza powered by Reliant, November 19 through December 18, each Friday and Saturday evening at 6 p.m. on the Tostitos Championship Plaza. The must-see 20-minute show kicks off with the lighting of The Star's 67-foot Christmas tree and holiday performances featuring the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue Dancers and Drumline, Cowboys Rookie Squad, mascot Rowdy and Santa Claus. Special appearances by Dallas Cowboys Football heroes will include Mr. & Mrs. Jerry and Gene Jones, Jason Witten, Drew Pearson and many more. Admission and parking for the event are free. Radiance! featuring Frozen in Frisco

One magical ticket, two amazing shows, three million lights! Radiance! featuring Frozen in Frisco, offers guests a theme park-style vehicle ride that guides them through a 1.5 mile-long light show before leading them into a winter carnival. The outdoor winter carnival will feature a two-story ice tubing hill, ice skating, snowball toss, a 108-foot Ferris wheel and much more. Frosty 5K & Merry Mile

Merry Main Street

Kick off the holiday season in Frisco at Merry Main Street Presented by Texas Health Hospital Frisco, Saturday, December 4 from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will feature a holiday gift market, food vendors, school choir performances, Santa & Friends parade and the lighting of The City of Frisco Christmas Tree in front of the George A.
