Frisco has a long history of being a shopping destination. In the city’s early years, it was common on weekends for the sidewalks and streets of Main Street to be packed with farmers, ranchers, and city folks. Horses, wagons and eventually Model T cars. Today, while it’s rare to see horses or Model Ts making their way down Main Street, folks still come from all over to frequent the boutiques in Rail District, as well as the other areas of town.
